About me

I’m a clinical psychologist practicing in Saxonwold, Johannesburg and work therapeutically with adults, adolescents, couples and families. I hold an MA (Clinical Psychology) (Cum Laude) degree from the University of Johannesburg and completed my internship training in the psychotherapy unit at Tara Hospital as well as several community primary mental healthcare clinics. After a number of years in community mental health I transitioned into full-time private practice.

Theoretically, I mainly use psychodynamic approaches, as well as cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT), Gestalt therapy, and dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT).

I offer a safe, confidential space where people can make sense of their feelings, thoughts and difficulties, and how these may relate to the wider context of their life and personality.

I am registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (PS0114766) and Board of Healthcare Funders (practice number 0469017).
